Located in Central Mexico, the ruins at Teotihuacan are at least 2,500 years old and were probably founded thousands of years earlier. Archeologists do not know much about the race which built this pyramid. The third level cutout is agreed by most to be a restorations error and the pyramid originally resembled the Pyramid of the Moon with all levels equally spread out.
